How to: Add the date or time to a document.
Solution:
Move the cursor to where date or time are to be inserted and select 'Date and Time...' from the 'Insert' menu.
1) Press CTRL+HOME to move to the beginning of the document (or move to the desired location to insert the date).
2) Select the 'Insert' menu and select 'Date and Time...'. (The 'Date and Time' dialog box appears.)
3) Select the desired format from the 'Available Formats' list box.
NOTE: To use a date based on the computer's date and time setting, select the fourth date from the top.
4) Click 'OK'.
NOTE: (Optional) To align the date, select the date, and click the desired alignment button (right align, left align, center, or full justify) on the 'Formatting' toolbar.
